S'er Papa me donasse tutta Roma
E me dicesse: "Lassa star chi t'ama."
Io je direbbe: "No, Sacra Corona!

Wedding Event

Main Ceremony

6:45 PM 8:00 PM
Saturday 8 June, 2024

The wedding ceremony will be at the Aeneas’ Landing private beach and will start ~1 hour before sunset.

Dinner and Party

8:30 PM 2:30 AM
Saturday 8 June, 2024

The reception will start with an outdoor 'aperitivo' held in the Aeneas’ Landing main garden. This is a relaxed atmosphere with informal seating where people can enjoy the surroundings, watch the sunset, mix, have some drinks and eat food from the different 'food corners'. A multi-course dinner will then be served. Depending on the weather, it will be either outdoors in the main garden or indoors in the wedding dining hall. The reception will continue with the wedding cake show and will go on into the early hours with toasts, dances, entertainment and, for the bravest, an early morning swim.

Heads-up

How to get there (Plane)

From Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome
Gaeta is a 2-hour drive from Rome. We strongly recommend driving. Alternatively, the Leonardo Express train (30 mins) connects FCO with Roma Termini train station. From there, you can take InterCity (1h) or regional train (1.5h) to Formia-Gaeta.
From Napoli Capodichino Airport (NAP) in Naples
Gaeta is a 1.5-hour drive from Naples. Alternatively, the Alibus bus service (30 mins) connects Capodichino with Napoli Centrale train station. From there, you can take InterCity (1h) or regional train (1.5h) to Formia-Gaeta.

How to get there (Train)

Stop at Formia-Gaeta train station in Formia. From there, you can take the Cotral local bus from Formia to Gaeta (30 mins).

Accommodation

The venue offers accommodation and our guests have access to discount rates. Despite that, given the luxury, yet relaxed and rustic-chic nature of the venue, rooms might still sound fairly expensive. Rates are: quadruple room 400.00€/day, triple room 350.00€/day, double room 300.00€/day. If you are interested in booking, reach out to us. As an alternative, we have worked out flat rates with Hotel Mirasole International in Gaeta. There are 12 standard double rooms at 130.00€/day and 6 comfort double rooms at 150.00€/day available. Breakfast is included, parking has an additional cost of 15€/day, crib 10€/day. To book, write them at info@mirasoleinternational.com and state that you are a guest of our wedding. Reservations are first come first served. Flat rates with other hotels in Gaeta are currently being worked out. Details will be shared in due course. On top of this, people are free book their own Airbnb/Booking.

Shuttle Service

We strongly recommend driving. Nonetheless, should there be people who cannot drive, we will arrange complimentary transportation to and from the wedding venue. Details will be shared in due course.

Parking

Parking is available at the venue.

Dress Code

The sustainability of fabrics and the recycling of clothes is very important to us, and that is why our dresses will be made from purely natural fabrics. Given this, we strongly suggest that you do not buy new clothes for the event but reuse something that you already have in your wardrobe. If that is linen, cotton, silk, wool or any other natural fiber, that is even better! Finally, given the nature of the wedding ceremony and the aperitivo, which will take place on the beach and in the garden, heels may be uncomfortable.

Menu Options

Gaeta and its Gulf are well known for the exceptional quality of seafood and many of the regional culinary traditions relate to fishing. Based on the local gastronomy, we are proposing a multi-course seafood dinner menu. Meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available for people with dietary restrictions or allergies (Has anybody said GROOM??).

The Journey

Our wedding will be a joyful journey through...

  • Our Roots

Everything in our wedding, from the ceremony scenery to our dresses, from the food to table decorations, flowers, shells and all other details, will try to honor local customs and traditions, balancing and enriching it with a sense of contemporary taste and refinement.

  • Our Heritage

You will savor natural red and white wine and taste the best olive oil produced by Nonno Mario and the Ciano family (Christian's mom), who have been producing natural wine and finest olive oil from a small-scale vineyard and olive trees for over three generations. Moreover, you will enjoy natural wine provided by Sete and Gaia Felix, two agricultural and cultural projects from Priverno and San Cipriano d'Aversa (both a few miles from Gaeta), that recovered and brought to a new sustainable life old, abandoned vineyards. Wine and oil labels will be designed by India Santella.

  • Our Lives

Music at the wedding ceremony and reception will be played by Made in Swing and will cover our favorite styles and genres: jazz, classical music, Westerns music, pop, swing, flamenco, Roman and Neapolitan popular/folk music and, above all, iconic Italian songwriters' music.
